I'm Shannon, and I currently live in Woodbridge, NJ. I am a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and continued my education at Boston University, where I earned a master's degree in Biomedical Forensic Science. I learned much about teaching from my mom, who is also a teacher. I am currently substitute teaching for grades K-6 in regular and special education courses. I am very enthusiastic about learning, and it is my goal to share that enthusiasm with you or your child. Most of my experience in tutoring is with younger children in reading, mathematics, or English, but I also have the ability to teach older students. I am able to tutor college courses in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, geometry, grammar and mechanics, and essay editing. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in martial arts, putting together puzzles, playing brain games, or reading.
